In response to representations from teachers working in remote and riverine (Diara) regions of Bihar, the Education Department has adjusted the geofencing parameters for the e-Shikshakosh attendance application.
Teachers can now mark their entry and exit attendance within a 500-meter radius of the school coordinates. Offline sync functionality has also been enabled, allowing biometric logs to upload automatically when mobile devices regain network connectivity.
